After you decide between e-reader and tablet (and pick up the latter one), the next decision to make is about screen size.
E-readers usually have a 6-inch display. Screen sizes of popular tablets range from 6 inches (the size of e-reader) to 12 inches (twice as much). It’s worth spending some time on finding out which dimension is best for your needs.
Usually, the smaller the screen, the less you can do. 6 or 7-inch tablets are best for reading, checking email or Facebook.
If you want to add a physical keyboard to your tablet, you should go with at least 10-inch device.
