Colossal has digged a brilliant book installation that is truly unique. It’s not built on the ground, but under the ground. The viewer gets the impression the walls filled with books have no end.

The installation was created by a Norwegian artist Susanna Hesselberg, and is called “When My Father Died It Was Like a Whole Library Had Burned Down”. The title refers to Laurie Anderson’s “World Without End” song lyrics.

The artist prepared the work for the annual art exhibition, Sculpture by the Sea, that takes place along the coast of Aarhus, Denmark.
