As you see, the importance of libraries and librarians is growing in the times of hunting for web access and digital content.
No matter how advanced Google search algorithms will be, they won’t be as smart as the quiet librarian in a small branch of the public library located behind a grocery store.
Reference librarians in the nation’s public and academic libraries answer nearly 6.6 million questions weekly. Standing single file, the line of questioners would span from Ocean City, Maryland to Juneau, Alaska.
