The chart compares financial strength of Amazon versus The Big 5 publishers.
It’s pretty clear why the Big 5 Publishers are scared of Amazon. The company is massive, with such a huge revenue advantage that it’s in a different league altogether.
Compared to long-established publishers, Amazon is just a 20-year-old kid – very grown-up, powerful, and with a clear vision where to go.
