Matt Lindley is a London-based travel writer, who has always been fascinated by foreign idioms.

Together with illustrator Marcus Oakley, he created a series of wonderful illustrations, explaining most interesting idioms in ten languages, including Polish, Italian, French, Japanese, and Portuguese.

The project was made for Hotel Club, a global online travel community.
