“The Great American Novel” is a stunning map hand-drawn by artist and illustrator Mark Adams and is a fantastic way to explore America’s most valuable fiction.

The visual charts 42 famous American novels across the map of the US. Each book comes with a number that links it to a respective fictional or real-life localization.

From Ahab off Nantucket to Ignatius J. Reilly in the Big Easy, Tom Joad fleeing the Dust Bowl to HST entering Bat Country – the map plots numerous monumental landmarks from American literature.

The illustration is available as a limited edition poster on Hog Island Press website. The map is screen-printed on 80 lb archival cover stock, and you will receive it in a reinforced 3-inch cardboard tube.
