Who is taller: Bilbo Baggins or Martin Freeman? Harry Potter or Daniel Radcliffe? Tyrion Lannister or Peter Dinklage?

Throughout its history, the movie industry has developed numerous tricks that make viewers believe the actor is taller – or smaller – than in reality.

Lovereading, a popular UK-based book discovery site, has released a new infographic created in cooperation with Datadial. It compares the height of characters from popular books with their movie counterparts.

You’ll find here characters from Harry Potter, The Hobbit, and A Game of Thrones.

I think this is probably a very good way to become a poet. Or to become anything, really, that calls to your heart and brings you to life.
