Animals are most adorable and memorable fictional characters. Over the years, a large number of colorful animals appeared in literature, and the new infographic will let you explore the most famous ones.

Developed by Helpucover, a UK-based company offering pet insurance, the visual presents unforgettable literary animals that have all played a part in every reader’s lives.
You’ll see here such “obvious” examples as Winnie-The-Pooh and Peter Rabbit, but there is also a place for White Fang or Snowball.
A couple of characters are missing, though. I miss Lassie, for instance.
Also, the first animal that came to my mind when I discovered the infographic was – obviously not adorable, but definitely memorable – the fearsome, diabolical hound pictured in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Hound of the Baskervilles.
