14 notable sonnets beautifully mapped by Pop Chart Lab (picture)

Notable sonnets visualized intro

Pop Chart Lab, our favorite site of top notch posters and art prints, has just added to their catalog a new incredible design.

A Metrical Mapping of Notable Sonnets displays fourteen sonnets from William Shakespeare, Mary Robinson, John Keats, Francesco Petrarch and other authors. Each sonnet is gently “enhanced” with intonation and rhyme hints.

While working on the sonnet chart, the Pop Chart Lab team has revealed, besides visuals, their huge talent for words. The description of the chart is actually a sonnet itself:

Here we show the cogs, the ticking parts
Of timeless poems, loved and plenty praised:
Direct thine eyes upon these fourteen charts
The rhyme, the feet, the iambs! Stand amazed!

The prints are signed and numbered by the artists, and come in four finishing options, from sheer print to framed poster.

The sonnet chart from Pop Chart Lab is definitely a great gift idea for every book lover.
