16th century book that can be read six ways (pictures)

Six-fold book - picture 1

Dan Brown should see it. This 16th century small book comes from the Rogge Library in Strängnäs, Sweden.

It’s an example of a dos-à-dos binding format. It allows the book to be opened and read in six different ways. The book was printed in Germany and contains religious devotional texts.

You can find more pictures of the book on the Flickr profile of the National Library of Sweden.
