It’s great that more and more stats are shared about international e-publishing markets.
Today we’re delighted to republish an infographic created by Scoop, Indonesia’s popular e-reading platform. The data was collected from Scoop’s own database of around 500,000 active users.
The essential fact to notice is that as much as 79 percent of users are men. Majority of them read on iOS devices (70%). Samsung is the most popular Android-based device.
Among the most popular books bought on Scoop last year there were Steve Jobs biography, and two novels from Robert Langdon series by Dan Brown (Inferno, and The Lost Symbol).
If you know of any interesting infographic revealing figures about less known ebook markets, please let us know in the comments.
