On July 12, 2016, Amazon runs for the second time in history a huge deal event that’s addressed exclusively to Amazon customers who have the Prime membership.

Prime Day 2016 deals are offered to existing Prime members, but also to anyone who will today sign up to Prime. Once you complete the registration, you’ll have access to all Prime Day 2016 deals.
What is Amazon Prime? It’s yearly a membership program offered by Amazon.
For $99 a year Prime members have unlimited free two-day shipping on 20 million items, unlimited streaming of thousands of movies, and more than one million songs. They can also borrow one Kindle book a month from Kindle Owners’ Lending Library, featuring over one million titles.
Amazon claims that Prime Day is the second biggest deal during the year, after Black Friday. Actually, last year, twice as many TV sets were sold during Prime Day compared to Black Friday and Cyber Monday combined.
Just like a year ago, Amazon Prime is a worldwide event – not only in the US but also for customers of every other localized Amazon store, where Prime membership is offered: UK, Spain, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, Canada, Belgium, and Austria.
The deals listed below are addressed to US customers. They are valid on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, and end on midnight, Pacific Daylight Time.

Amazon Prime Day 2016 Kindle and Fire deals
Save $30 on all-new Kindle 8 (2016)
Last year only one Kindle e-reader was discounted. Today, there is almost an entire range featured in Prime Day Kindle e-reader deals.
Among them, you’ll find the newest entry-level Kindle model, that has been released on June 22, and is shipping for just a couple of days.

Amazon Fire 7 tablet for just $33.33
The most affordable tablet from Amazon is now even cheaper.
Amazon Fire 7, the $49 entry-level tablet that features 1024 × 600 px display and 8 or 16 GB of internal storage, is today $33.33. You’ll save one-third of the price – $17.
The tablet is available in four colors: Black, Blue, Magenta, and Tangerine. It has a micro SD card slot so that you can add up to 128 GB of additional storage. The battery guarantees up to 7 hours of reading, surfing the web, watching videos, and listening to music.

$59.94– you save 25%, - 12 months – $80.32
$119.88– you save 33%, - 24 months – $143.85
$239.76– you save 40%.
So, if you pick up the 24-month plan, and would like to stop Kindle Unlimited after 6 months, you won’t get back the money for the remaining 18 months.
The savings on the Kindle Unlimited 24-month plan are $95.91. It’s almost one year of Amazon Prime membership.
