The 5th generation Amazon Fire 7 tablet was introduced in September 2015. Its major benefit is the price. You can buy at for $49.99. So far it was already offered at a reduced price of $34.99.

Obviously, for such a price the tablet is not roaring with advanced features. It also doesn’t offer the highest display resolution, but if you just want to have the tablet, it will be more than enough.
No matter how low the price is, it’s wise to protect the device. One way is to buy a warranty that will let you repair the broken tablet or replace it with the new one.

The 5th generation Fire 7 has much smaller width than both the 2013 and 2014 generation. The difference is more than a centimeter. Therefore, even the cases with flexible corner straps may be too wide to securely keep the new tablet in place.
