To celebrate Valentine’s Day, the team from an online plagiarism detection platform Unplag has developed a new infographic.
[ef-archive number=2 tag=”lists” ]
The visual puts together the most famous literary love stories – from Romeo and Juliet to The Great Gatsby, to Fifty Shades of Grey – and analyzes their endings.
It turns out that there are six typical endings: death, marriage, children, staying together, separation, and unrequited love.
18 novels were analyzed. Death is the most common ending (8 times), followed by separation (7), and children (5).
Well, of course, it’s a bit spoilerish, since we reveal some plot secrets, but we do hope it won’t break your heart.
