Who is the typical ereader buyer? (infographic)
Good folks from BlueKai have put together a nice infographic about buyers of e-readers and tablets.
Check the part which lists groups of customers, who are most likely to buy e-readers. I’m not sure if it includes only dedicated e-reading devices with e-ink screen, as at the beginning of the infographic it’s stated that “everyone knows e-readers like the Amazon Kindle Fire”.
The finding that gift card buyers are most willing to buy e-readers is extremely interesting. E-readers and tablets become cheaper and cheaper and they enter the gift card price range, what makes them especially attractive to consider as gifts – to give or receive. And Christmas is not the only time to think about it.
