Librarian Rhapsody (video)

The staff of the Shoalhaven Libraries, New South Wales, Australia, created and produced an amusing video that’s based on the 1975 hit song by the Queen, “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

The librarians interpret the original song to promote library services – with a stunning effect. And the text of the “Librarian Rhapsody” is simply brilliant:

Is this non-fiction?

Is this just fantasy?
Work in the Library
We escape from reality
Open your eyes
Pick up a book and read…

I’m volunteering, there’s many more like me

We treat them well, don’t let them go
Train our staff- watch them grow
Tell me where the cool kids go
Must be to the library to read
To read

Well, it’s been a year
