How to get a book published [infographic]

In times of self-publishing, making the book available in major ebookstores takes literally a couple of minutes. More and more people get fascinated with a vision of having their writing published.

Is publishing a book that easy? Zachary Petit, senior managing editor of Writer’s Digest magazine, prepared a fabulous (and very amusing to study) flowchart that describes all “elements” of getting the book published.

We love the humor in it. You have to have a distance to yourself to make things happen and overcome lots of problems that will appear on the way to “Buy my book” button.

So, what is the answer to the question “Is publishing a book easy?” The answer is “yes” – on condition that you really, really enjoy what you’re doing.
