Ereader comparison 2012: hardware, software, screen, connectivity, battery, and more
There are many new ereaders on the market and if you want to have their detailed comparison, we’ve found a great chart in the product section of The Verge blog.
Kindle Paperwhite, Nook Simple Touch GlowLight, or Kobo Mini can be compared here, among others. Below there is a screenshot of the chart, with hardware and screen, but you should visit the original page and have a look at more sections. Software, storage, ports and connectivity are being put together here.
The Verge chart can be also personalized – and this is the best part of it. If you remove one of the models, by clicking on the black box next to its image, you will see other models, which you can put into the chart.
The list of models to compare is pretty impressive. You can pick up (naming only brands): Sony, iRiver, BeBook, Archos, Ectaco, Fuji, Bookeen, or Panasonic.
Here is a predefined comparison between Kindle Paperwhite and Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight.
