Americans’ favorite devices [infographic]

The figures used in this infographic created by LiveScience come mainly from 2010, but it will be really interesting to compare them with 2011 results after the new Pew Research Center’s report will be published.

Obviously, the ownership figures will jump high, not only the ones for laptops or tables, but also ereaders – having in mind this year’s huge pre-Christmas sales.

One remark. When I hear the word gadget I almost instantly see a device which is not fully functional or not fully used. Huge popularity of our posts with tips for ereader and tablet owners proves that many users want to turn their newly bought gadgets into useful devices. There is no other way in the age of information overload.
