How to share to social networks book passages from Kindle for iPad & iPhone

If you use Kindle application for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch (AppStore link), you can easily share book excerpts to social media networks.

To do that, follow these simple steps.

1.  In a home screen of the application, find the Info icon at the right bottom, select Settings and then Social Networking (see picture 1).

2. Connect your Kindle application (and your account) with social networks. Currently you can link to Twitter and/or Facebook. You will be able to unlink the accounts any time using the same path.

3. When you find an interesting passage in a book you’re currently reading, simply tap on it and select the text. A tab with options will automatically appear. Choose Share and a window with social networks will be displayed immediately (picture 2).

4. Write down your note and share the message. The note will be posted to your Twitter/Facebook stream with a link to the book passage at your Kindle account page at http://kindle.amazon.com.
