How to reduce distractions while reading in a Kindle’s web browser
Reading articles in a Kindle’s web browser is not an easy thing. Typical web pages are cluttered with many additional elements: banners, navigation menus, sidebar widgets of all kinds.
The result: web pages render slowly and are very hard to read.
You can reduce all that clutter by using a feature Kindle¹ has, but you might not be aware of.
1. Press Menu, while you’re in a web browser on a page you want to read with no distractions.
2. Select Article Mode.
After refreshing, the page will be displayed in a reading mode, with no banners and other distracting elements. The content will be limited only to the text and images of the article you want to read.
